Wedding Season

Don't upstage the bride!

Okay so we all have experienced every girls worst nightmare of not having anything to wear regardless of the fact that we can no longer shut our wardrobes! But seriously now is the time to start planning your outfit way in advance. I hate it when I rush around as I end up getting all hot and bothered and looking worse than I originally started. Therefore its my duty to say - LETS GET PREPPED!

Summer is on its way, and lets hope we get more than 2 weeks worth this year (fingers crossed). That being said many people love having their wedding in the beautiful scenic countryside of Great Britain; rolling hills, chirping birds and if they pay for it a harpist in the background. Its an idyllic scene that we all love and have come to experience at some stage in our lives. But heaven forbid - what do we wear?! As many people know the bride is the focal point of a wedding and no one should upstage her because if you do you most likely won't be alive to tell the tale! Therefore I want to suggest just a few dress and clutch bags from our own range that would look fabulous to wear to a wedding this coming summer.

1. Coast Print Dress - £250

I think this dress is gorgeous and flattering with its traditional A-line skirt it flattens all shapes creating curves and minimising the unwanted bits. I love the colours and think they are truly perfect for this season, the electric blue is what I want to pick up on. Rather than overdoing it with blue accessories why not keep all of that neutral and go for a shocking electric blue clutch or shoes.

This electric blue clutch is from our range and is available to purchase. I think it compliments the dress and is stunning either with a formal outfit or even to dress up a pair of jeans.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you are interested in our products.

2. Warehouse Butterfly Midi Dress - £65

This butterfly dress is simply angelic, and the print speaks summer more than anything else. This floaty fabric is very romantic and even though the main colour throughout the dress is white I would argue that you are in no danger of upsetting the bride IF you accessorise well. Again I think this classic dress should be paired with a stunning vibrant clutch that gives it even more life.

This exquisite clutch is perfect for highlighting the delicate shades throughout the dress. Again its a statement piece and glams up the dress without overdoing it with jewelry and shoes.

Fundamentally the must have bag to take you from the day into the night.

Again this bag is available, also in other shades and shapes please don't hesitate to contact me if you are interested.

3. Dorothy Perkins Taupe Wrap Maxi Dress - £45

Alternatively you could go for the more grecian look in an elegant maxi dress. This particular dress from Dorothy Perkins is great for the fact that whilst having a shimmer it remains mostly simple and plain therefore giving you many options to update and make the dress your own. Again personally because of the shimmer throughout the dress I would keep jewelry to its simplest with some cute  diamante earrings and then make a statement with a clutch bag.

This white clutch is the perfect accompaniment for the dress as whilst being simply white it does have the diamante embellishment on the front adding a little something to the overall impact of the bag. Again I believe this is perfect for a wedding but could also be bought for prom or evenings out.

Again I have many more products which can be found on our Facebook Page. Please take a look, like and follow us.

Bag of the Week - Oriental Inspired

Hey Guys!

So I want to try this new thing where I take a bag from my collection and try to see what garments and looks  would look best with it. I will be looking for inspiration not only from fashion but also looking at celebrities and the high street. I hope this not only becomes interesting to read but also shows you a new way in which you can experiment with fashion and become bolder in your everyday looks, namely accessorising with fabulous bags and accessories. Many of the bags I will be talking about are available to buy so if you are interested please don't hesitate to email me or look at our Facebook Page so you can message me online.

Firstly the bag I want to begin with is a simple one to test the waters and see how this goes.

This is a Black Silver Framed Oriental Clutch

So with Spring/Summer around the corner its time to start experimenting with new colours and fabulous clothing. This black clutch has a hint of the orient which is influencing the high street massively this season. Looking great in oriental florals and teaming it with this black clutch is a great look. Lorraine from Daybreak recently did a section of the show discussing the new flavour of the orient stamping their mark on the high street, you can find the link at the bottom of the post.

Here is a gorgeous Monsoon dress in the oriental style, possibly an 'event' dress as it comes in at £149...stunning none the less.

Monsoon dresses are easily our go to for wedding guest chic this season. From their far-east inspired maxi dresses, to dainty cocktail frocks, there's something for every sort of wedding and every type of guest.

I love the rich shades and with a heavy embellished necklace this dress could be mistaken for designer any day. And  finally teamed with our unique black clutch bag it will blow anyone anyway.

Another great item is this oriental jacket at Zara coming in at £40. Again paired with the black clutch would be perfect for any occasion whether it be drinks or going out for meal.

Similar to Monsoon I love the prints used in Zara's clothing and it always looks either top class high street or moving into the designer field which as we all know makes any girl feel amazing.

Looking at the rest of Zara's 2013 Spring/Summer collection I can see much of the oriental influence of their pieces opting for floaty statements either embellished in jewels or going for a silk with a print. Either of the looks is amazing.

Below are a few I loved.
